Dreamscapes
I made my first dreamscapes in 2016 when I tried to teach myself how to draw in 3D. By creating these intimate yet surreal combinations of material and light, I wanted to capture the different ways reality could hold a human body. For me, they represent particular moments from my early 20s: the passing of grandma, feelings of uncertainty, and blinding ambition, to name a few. Every dreamscape centers around one’s relation to light and represents a sense of optimism that I hope to inspire.
